Elena is the Head of Client Engagement at ClearAlpha® Technologies. She is responsible for fundraising and investor relations.
Previously, Elena was the Head of North America Capital Raising at Investcorp and also served on the firm’s Hedge Fund Seeding Committee, Investment Committee and Strategic Outlook Committee. She broadened and deepened the firm’s institutional relationships for both public and private strategies. She also sourced and scaled new hedge fund managers across a broad range of strategies by developing long-term strategic partnerships with institutional investors globally. Prior to that, she allocated capital to hedge fund managers as Global Head of Credit and Event-Driven Strategies for Pioneer Alternative Investments. Earlier in her career, Elena launched and led the Fundamental Strategies business at Goldman Sachs, advising internal risk takers and CIOs of the firm’s top institutional clients on portfolio and hedging solutions across credit and equities.
Elena holds a PhD in Economics from Harvard University and a BA in Mathematics summa cum laude from Wellesley College.
