Sean is the Co-Founder of ClearAlpha® Technologies and the firm's Chief Operating Officer, responsible for leading the development of ClearAlpha® Technologies’ trading, research, and client interfacing technology. Sean is a hands-on engineering executive with a proven track record of industry-changing innovation and entrepreneurialism. Before founding ClearAlpha® Technologies, Sean was the CTO of MUFG Americas, and the Chief Architect for Tech Strategy and Incubation for Bridgewater Associates.
Earlier in his career, Sean founded high-tech startups that created new markets within finance, healthcare, e-commerce, and entertainment. He holds patents for cloud and software-as-a-service (SaaS) building blocks such as web services, e-commerce, and network infrastructure. Sean has served on Microsoft's Internet Advisory Board, Amazon Web Services' Customer Advisory Board, and as chair of Cloud Native Computing Foundation's Financial Services SIG.
